Band looking for singer - N/NW suburbs

Our singer recently had to step back due to success in his main gig. We're all too old, settled, and pragmatic to prioritize anything above family and career, so we wish him well! But we want to keep going, so we're looking for a new singer. If you play an instrument too, that's a plus but not a requirement. Style is bluesy rock, with some funk influence. But that style isn't set in stone; whoever comes on board will have equal say in the direction of the band. We play originals and covers, but our philosophy on covers is always to put our spin on it. If you prefer to play songs "just like the record" this isn't the band for you. Gigs so far have been block parties and local festivals. We aren't looking to play bars every weekend to supplement our income; this is a hobby.
