Guitarist looking for Rock project

I am a guitarist in Bakersfield looking to join or start a "regular" rock band to eventually gig locally. Influences range from Rolling Stones / Tom Petty classic rock, Sonic Youth / Pearl Jam Alternative rock, and Radiohead-like experimental rock. Not really looking to play metal or super heavy stuff. I have been playing guitar about 30 years and writing original songs for 20. Willing to do covers and/or originals and want to collaborate with others.
