The Wenham Village Improvement Society is excited to invite Wenham residents to participate in a discussion to help shape a community vision for the Town of Wenham. This discussion is part of the Wenham Master Plan effort. The Master Plan will be a 10-year roadmap for Wenham’s future. It will serve as the foundational policy document for the Town – guiding local decisions about future growth, preservation, and change. So, it is critical that community members engage to give their input and help shape the focus and priorities of the Master Plan. We know our WVIS members and friends care as deeply about Wenham's future.
To engage as many community members as possible, the Wenham Master Plan Advisory Committee created the Meeting in a Box, a civic engagement method designed for use by community groups, associations, or friends to gather at a convenient time and location to share their ideas for the Wenham Master Plan. The WVIS Board of Directors felt that it's part of our mission to bring people together and think about the future of our town, hearing from you the residents.
We hope you'll join us on one of the following dates for a small group guided discussion as part of this effort. Our thoughts will be shared with the planning committee and integrated into the vision for the future. Come share your thoughts and ideas for the future of Wenham!
WVIS will host two sessions:
Monday, January 30th 12-2 p.m.
Sunday, February 12th 5-7 p.m.
These events are free and will be held in the dining room of the Wenham Tea House. The Wenham Tea House will provide light refreshments. Please RSVP here on Eventbrite, so we can plan accordingly. Questions? Contact Joanne Frascella at [email protected]. Joanne is a WVIS Board Member and chair of the Wenham Master Plan Advisory Committee.
With many thanks,
The Wenham Village Improvement Society Board of Directors
