“Blindfolded Speed-Meeting” Is an event that creates a healthy space for people to meet outside of the club and beyond social media and in way that goes far beyond the superficial energy that comes with actual speed”dating”. Although in the past 3 years of doing this event in Nj successfully bimonthly we’ve actually had people who met here become couples, life partners, parents, etc the intention of “BSM” is to teach people how to learn how to engage people without ulterior motives to become something more than whatever they share in the moment. We often look passed people we are conditioned to believe aren’t important to our path if we aren’t romantically interested in them and many of those very people we don’t give the time of day are holding necessary lessons we need to make it to our soul mate level connections. This event sets the stage for these exchanges with people who may end up being new friends, business partners, supporters, patrons, etc. So the opportunities for networking and community building at large are abundant via “BSM” and the potential for actual romance def still exists. Being that this is a special Valentine’s Day edition we will be collaborating critically acclaimed Artist Wyntress X’ion who is the start and cataylst of the Brand new Short Film “Ebony Love Letter” which is an cinematic ode to black love in all forms which since it’s first debut screening has become more than a film but an initiative to celebrate and cultivate love in the black and brown community. There will be a screening of the short film, along with the Blindfolded Speed-Meeting, Roundtable Real-ationship Group discussion all amidst and environment full of music, vibes, art, vendors and more If you are apprehensive about meeting people in this way we have removed all the guess work and uncomfortable silences that can happen in these types of space via the blindfolds which takes the pressure of performing or putting on to impress away from what can often be an awkward exchange. We also have a method to make sure everyone has something to say when it’s time to meet each other. So round up your friends and come join us for for a night of adventure, mystery, connection, Art, film, networking, beautiful people and the often overlooked and under appreciated age old art of conversation. And your never know, your Mr or Mrs Right may have already purchased their ticket :)
