One Day at the 1904 World's Fair 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Florissant Valley Branch Learn about the truths and myths of the day African Americans were allowed to attend the 1904 World's Fair. This program will explore the experience of African American workers, vendors, and visitors at the fair, as well as the events that took place on July 13, 1904. Speaker: Carol Shelton, a professional storyteller for more than twenty-five years, author, and retired teacher. Adults. Registration required.
