No napkins. No silverware. Yes aprons.
Join us for our Fourth Annual Beefsteak Banquet on Thursday Feb 16th.
What's a Beefsteak, you ask?
"It's described a feast of epic proportions known simply as a “Beefsteak.” A rite of gluttony that waged war on the livers of politicians and gangsters alike, the Beefsteak thrived in the saloons and political halls of the 19th and early 20th centuries. The menu was always the same — sliced steak served on toast, au jus or gravy, and lots of beer and whiskey. Knives, forks, plates and napkins were forbidden. The life of the party was the guest who let out the most appreciative grunts, drank the most beer, and consumed the most steak. Sadly, the practice died out after World War II."
Sounds like a great idea, so we're bringing it back. A continuous two hour fest of beef tenderloin with several other beef, pork, sausage, and more meat-based options (sorry vegetarians).
Every Beefsteak'er will take home a custom 2023 Beefsteak apron and enjoy a Templeton Rye welcome cocktail, a neat pour of Templeton Rye 10yr, and a "dessert" cocktail with Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey. Please, be 21 or older. apron
Price per person is $80 which includes tax & tip for staff. Ticket link will be live through eventbrite on Monday Jan 30th
