Description
The Take Space Wellness Festival, curated by lululemon ambassadors Alicia Ferguson, co-founder of BK Yoga Club and OnDekalb, and Eric Mosley, founder of Black Mat Yoga, is an intersectional two-day festival celebrating the beauty of Black culture through past, present, and future. "Black Resistance" is the official theme of Black History Month this year and the festival highlights our Ambassadors' six pillars of resistance: joy, movement, culture, food, rest, and pleasure. Expect movement sessions and panel discussions lead by Black New York City lululemon ambassadors and community builders. Enjoy custom activations, photo moments, floral designs, a Black joy dance party, a wellness market curated by Black-Owned Market, and more! However you find space for wellbeing – rest, sweat, connection – grab your crew and meet us uptown for a weekend that you won’t soon forget. All are welcome. If you identify as a part of the Black community or would like to attend as a form of allyship, we encourage you to join.
