Rare Books SF, one of the largest antiquarian book and paper fairs in Northern California, will be taking place this February at the Hibernia Bank in San Francisco. In conjunction with the fair, The Pressroom and Mercantile at The Box SF will be hosting an Open House and evening Reception at our historic building, a few blocks south of the show location. Saturday evening February 4th from 6:30-9:30pm, immediately following the fair, The Box SF Mercantile and Event Spaces will be open for Tours, Shopping, and a Dealer and Collector's Reception in our 14,000 square foot 1920s building. A full CASH Bar will be open throughout the night and light appetizers will be available. Our Store on the ground floor has been designed to resemble a1850's Country Store and contains over 15 million pieces of Ephemera, Books, Maps, Posters, Labels, and Vintage Advertising. We sell "All things Printed"! Our Mercantile is a visual wonderland which draws visitors from around the world. We look forward to welcoming our guests for Cocktails and Lite Bites. Exhibitors and Dealers at Rare Books SF are free to attend with their Book Fair Booth Credentials (To attend for FREE you must be a registered and confirmed Exhibitor at Rare Books SF.) All other interested Collectors and Dealers are welcome to purchase a Ticket for the festivities below.
