We are looking for a part-time maintenance worker/handyman with a strong work ethic, professional demeanor and a good overall knowledge of maintaining and “making ready” local condominiums. Most work is in area of Okeechobee Rd. and Jog Rd. This is NOT an ad for a HOA staff maintenance worker. Pay will be as independent contractor (1099). Needed skills are painting and repair, cleaning, fixture change-outs (plumbing and electrical) faucets, ceiling fans, window blinds and other misc. maintenance. Qualifications: ** MUST HAVE GOOD AVAILABILITY AND ABILITY TO RESPOND TO ISSUES QUICKLY - Physical aspects of the job may require climbing stairs, heavy lifting, kneeling, stooping and working from ladder - Possession of basic tools needed to perform routine maintenance tasks - Must have own transportation, preferably van or truck - Need good interpersonal skills to interact directly w/ tenants, fellow employees, management and HOA personnel. - Must speak fluent English
