Price for full day is $30 (includes lunch). Individually boxed lunches include a sandwich entrée, fruit, bagged chips, brownie, and bottled water. Lunch selection is made with your ticket purchase. Amanda will walk us through the colors of the rainbow and thrill us with wishes and dreams of spring, summer and fall flowers. She will show us plants to make our gardens pop, and she will describe how some plants just dance together. 10:00 - 10:30 Break, Table Talks 10:30 - 11:30 Session 2 – Elevate Your Success with Raised Beds, moderated by Dr. Kristine Lang along with Minnehaha County Master Gardener panelists Kathy Buseman, Cindy Jungman, and May Schaefer. Make your high-rise beds soar with tips and information from this panel discussion. 11:30 – 12:45 Lunch, Table Talks 12:45 – 1:45 Session 3 – Berries by Ball, presented by Dr. John Ball, SDSU Extension Forestry Specialist & South Dakota Department of Agriculture Forest Health Specialist. Expect humor and entertainment while you learn to incorporate berry and cherry trees into your landscape. He will introduce you to the varieties that grow and produce best in South Dakota and will inspire best management tips for good measure! 1:45 – 2:00 Break 2:00 – 3:00 Session 4 – Vegetable Garden Mini Sessions, presented by Minnehaha County Master Gardeners Cami Jacobsen, Mary Lerssen, and Jerry Mills.
