Great American song book band seeks bass player

Established 6-piece band looking to replace bass player who had to retire due to health reasons. We have 2 saxes, guitar, drums, bass and 1 female singer, ages 65 to 72. We play at assisted living centers, libraries, parties, etc. All songs are great American song book, jazz standards, Latin, but no rock-n-roll. Instrument can be bass guitar or upright bass, will need pickup for amplification. We practice once a month on Sunday afternoons at downtown Las Olas condo. We average 1 paying gig per month so this is just for fun, not for those who need the income. Must be able to create bass line from lead sheet chords.
