Hello! We are hiring 2-4 freelance Sales Consultants to help out during various events selling wooden sunglasses & watches! We have many events in Chicago, but if you like to travel and are interested in working many of our events across the country, that is great! If you'd rather just stick with events in Chicago - that is okay too. We offer competitive pay, pay for your travel, lodging, and you receive a per diem for food. This post is mostly for Chicago Auto Show February 11-20, but I also am looking for help at many other events, a lot of which are in Chicago, but also have many around the country. Our next events we are hiring for: Chicago, IL Auto Show: Feb 11 - 20, 2023 San Antonio, TX Stock & Rodeo Show: Feb 9 - 26, 2023 Austin, TX Stock & Rodeo Show: March 10 – 25, 2023 ---> Over 40+ more events in 2023. This is not a traditional sales job. We are selling unique, cool, eco-friendly products and just help people find the pair of sunglasses that fit them best. We don't have any pushy sales tactics, or have to "hawk" to bring people in. We have fun! What you'll be doing --Setting up and working in various retail locations such as trade shows, events, craft fairs, etc. --Engage with customers to help inform them and help find the perfect wooden accessory, ask open ended questions to determine the customer's needs. --Maintain clean work station & cleaning products --Maintain inventory count of products The hourly rate is $18/hr + 5% commission of your sales, you can expect that to fall around $23-$30/hr depending on the event. The ideal candidate is honest, friendly, happy, outgoing, enjoys talking with people, and is motivated to sell. We have fun at the booth, and must be able to stand for 8 hrs at a time.
