Hiring for UAB Hospital Housekeeping, Food Services & Patient Transport Jobs! ** Date: WEDNESDAY, FEB 8. ** Time: 9 AM - 12 NOON. ** Location: Express Employment - Bham South. 200 Cahaba Park Circle, Suite 130, Birmingham 35242. Hiring for ALL SHIFTS (day shift, afternoons & overnight); because it's a hospital, you'll be rotating weekends and holidays. We will be interviewing & hiring for the following positions: HOUSEKEEPING / Environmental Services - Starting base $12.00/hr., PLUS $520 Retention Bonus every 90 days. In addition to keeping patient rooms and common areas nice and clean, you'll be the visible patient care specialist, taking care of patients and their families! Full time, all shifts. PATIENT TRANSPORT - $13.00/hr. Evening Shifts 3pm-11:30pm, Night Shifts 11pm-7:30am Will be transporting wheelchairs and beds throughout the hospital. Walking @ 90% of the time. FOOD SERVICE POSITIONS - $13.00 /hr. Food Runner – All Shifts Stocking carts with fulfilled orders/trays and delivering within the hospital rooms. Sweepers – All Shifts Retrieving used trays and utensils from patient rooms throughout the hospital. Trayline – All Shifts Building the order on the tray by selecting the items indicated on the ticket.
