We are looking for an individual that would like to join our company and make a lifetime career choice. The ideal candidate for this position will have relevant and working knowledge on Florida Building Codes and OSHA. Must have a minimum of five years' experience as a foreman along with at least ten years' experience in residential construction and experience with all types of projects. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Supervise and coordinate the activities of employees on site. Communicate regularly with the appropriate Superintendent. Inspect work progress, equipment, or job site to verify safety or ensure specifications are met. Able to read and comprehend blueprints, specifications and project schedules. Assign work to employees, based on material or worker requirements of specific jobs. Coordination of framing, siding, demolition, doors, windows, trim, flooring and more within each project. Accountable for ordering material, managing deliveries/backorders, ensuring changes in scope/discrepancies are resolved, responsible for tool control and coordination equipment rental. Must be willing and able to travel to local job site locations. Must be physically fit to perform the demanding work of trade.
