Job Description: ERDEN is seeking a skilled, reliable Shop Assistant to join our fast-growing company. In this position, you will be responsible for shipping and receiving product, fabricating and embedding luxury metal pieces, and general workshop maintenance. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential, along with the flexibility required at a high-pace work environment. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about their career and are eager to learn new skills. Responsibilities: Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (pack, wrap, label, ship, unload/load). Receive and process shipments i.e., rugs, stock products (unload, label, store), etc. Assist in the embedding of metal pieces into rugs. Assist with metal fabrication: Fulfilling work orders and tracking progress Tapping, drilling, cutting, straightening, and polishing Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by keeping tools, workshop, and workstations. Perform day-to-day building maintenance, minor repairs, and building improvements. Assists other departments when needed. Characteristics: A self-starter who takes initiative and can effectively execute given tasks. Strong focus on safety protocols. Proven ability to problem-solve, multi-task, and work collaboratively with team members. Basic understanding of mathematical concepts. Must be able to accurately read a tape measure and convert fractions into decimal equivalents. Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions. Must have good communication skills. Proven track record of dependability and punctuality. Requirements: High school diploma/GED Driver’s License Clean driving record, background, and references. Must be able to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 100 pounds. Experience with power and shop tools a plus; Willing to train the right individual. Monday-Friday; Hours 8:30AM-5:00PM Be available to work a flexible work schedule. Must submit a resume.
