BUILDING MAINTENANCE WORKER Infinity Engineering Consultants, LLC is seeking candidates for a part-time BUILDING MAINTENANCE WORKER to perform general maintenance and repair related to an office building in Metairie, LA. The position requires practical skill and knowledge in such trades as painting, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and general maintenance. Candidate must be a skilled technician who pays attention to detail and is a self-starter. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Perform painting, carpentry, HVAC, minor electrical and plumbing, and general remodeling and/or maintenance work. • Conduct building inspections on a periodic and routine basis to identify issues, the type of repair work needed, and resolve issues as necessary. • Administer, follow up, and communicate with Owner on the status of specific maintenance and/or repair items until satisfactorily completed. • Seek and coordinate outside assistance from contractors and service companies when required. QUALIFICATIONS: • Minimum of 1-year experience in general maintenance, building maintenance, renovation, or construction. • Self-motivated and shows initiative to start and complete tasks. • Be able to walk, bend, stoop, balance, crawl, and reach for extended periods of time • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. • Must be comfortable and able to work on a ladder of 20 feet. • Must be able to work independently without direct supervision. • Must possess a Valid Driving License. This position is for long term, part-time employment and is not eligible for benefits. Work hours are flexible and will vary depending upon maintenance work being performed at any given time, but is generally expected to be at least 10 hours per week.
