MONROE, NJ — A New Brunswick man has been arrested and is charged with the killing of another man who police say he fatally struck with his car, while allegedly driving drunk, in Monroe Township Friday afternoon.
Leovigildo Comisario-Salazar, 32, of New Brunswick was arrested and charged with vehicular homicide and driving while intoxicated.
Comisario-Salazar was driving a commercial truck just past 4 p.m. Friday at 433 Schoolhouse Road when he struck and killed his coworker Pedro Lopez Lopez, 33, of New Brunswick, charges the Middlesex County Prosecutor.
Comisario-Salazar was charged with being under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
