Learn the tricks to making your very own delicious pies with the expert baking team of Honeypie Cafe & Bakeshop.  Held inside our bakeshop kitchen at our sister cafe, Palomino, our hands-on classes will guide you through a variety of different aspects of pie making and give you a peek into the life of a bakeshop.  In each class you will bake your own pies to take home.  There will be lots of room for questions and answers during each class so come with all of your crust conundrums and filling inquiries .  Classes are approximately 2-3 hours and are limited to 12 people.  Class requires that you stand most of the time and work at a table in a working professional kitchen.  This pie class is a hands-on lesson in making graham cracker crumb crusts, Honeypie's Key Lime pie and a lemon "icebox" pie with blueberries.  We will bake our crusts, make fillings and then bake two 9" pies.  Come prepared to learn the fun history and how-to of the key lime pie and to make your own tasty treats to take home. Tickets for class includes all of your ingredients, a recipe with tips and tricks and a drink ticket for the bar. (Please note, we often have long wait lists for our pie classes.  Tickets to class are non-refundable if you cancel without more than 72 hours notice.  If you need to cancel within 72 hours of class, you are welcome to email us, and we will offer your spot to a person on the waiting list.  If it is taken by someone waiting, we will refund your ticket.  You are also welcome to give your ticket to a friend and they can attend in your place.)
