So that people could meet others with their target language and practice. And even if there is no one with your target language it is good practice to interact with like minded people and get language learning tips and resources. Also available for people who are trying to learn english. For example if someone knows spanish but has trouble with english it'd be great to work with someone who knows english and is trying to learn spanish. I've been trying to teach myself Spanish for a couple years now and I wished there was a club or group setting to practice in so I decided to just make my own.
