The Renew, Restore, Revive Conference focuses on a renewal of the heart and spirit that only our Lord himself can provide. If you need a fresh spark of passion for Christ, a renewed “first love” relationship with Him, this event is for you. So, grab a friend and join us for an amazing day of heartfelt worship, and incredible teaching! Our Connect Women’s Ministry is sponsored by Beale Memorial Baptist Church, Howertons Baptist Church, and Trinity United Methodist Church. We are nondenominational, with the commitment to reaching women of all backgrounds. Our guest speaker is Melissa Maimone of Raleigh, North Carolina. Melissa is a speaker, author, and leadership mentor. With over 15 years of experience speaking to women at churches, retreats, and conferences, Melissa Maimone creates an atmosphere that welcomes authenticity, relationships, and deep connection with God. In addition to authoring two books, Melissa's writings have appeared on Lysa Terkhurst's Proverbs 31 blog, in Lifeway's Home Life Magazine, and various other media outlets. She's been a guest on Christian Webcasts, TBN, and KKLA Christian Radio. She also makes regular appearances on popular podcasts discussing a wide range of topics for women. This year's conference features gospel soloist Rev. Cora Harvey Armstrong of Newtown, Virginia. Dubbed the “The Queen of Virginia Gospel Music”, singer and pianist Cora Harvey Armstrong has been delighting audiences for over 40 years. Cora began taking piano lessons at the age of five, and performed gospel music with her sisters and mother as The Harvey Family. Since then, she has toured Europe and Japan, directed the VSU Gospel Chorale, and become an ordained minister. Leading our Praise and Worship, for the second year is Sarah Blackwell. Sarah is the Worship Director for Grace Covenant Church in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Sarah believes that we were all born worshipers and that our truest identity comes when we genuinely know the Heavenly Father we worship. She believes and is thankful that JESUS has redeemed her life. DOORS OPEN AT 8:15 AM Ticket sales are final. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED. Seats are limited. A processing fee will be added at checkout.
