The Military Railroad Society presents the Moonlight Special Hor D'oeurve Train at Fort Eustis, Newport News, Virginia- The Moonlight Special excursions are planned for Friday February 17th at 6pm and 8pm. Ride in style aboard one of our vintage Catalpa Falls cars. Passengers on board will be treated to delicious hor d'oeurves prepared by Chef Win from Nuttall's Store of Gloucester, located on Ware Neck Road . This one hour train ride departs twice near the Motorcycle Training Range parking lot, located in Fort Eustis. DoD card required for entry to Fort Eustis. This event is 21+ Menu includes: Sweet Potato Biscuits with Edwards Country Ham Thia Chili Meatballs Warm Crab Dip with French Baguette Nuttall's Famous Chicken Salad in Phyllo Cups Catalpa Falls will boast 6 private rooms, one couple per room. The lounge/dining area features 4 tables, two of the tables can be reserved for up to 4 passengers. Chester County is the business class car with room for 26 to lounge in comfort in the luxurious swivel chairs and fold up tables. This car also features one spacious restroom Rocky River is the kitchen car, featuring six tables with seating for up to 4 passengers. Along with 4 areas to comfortably accommodate 2 passengers in each section. As well as a lounge area, seating for 8 All seats can be selected when reserving tickets. DoD card required to get on base. Please arrive 15 min early for parking, boarding begins near parking area at 5:30pm and train departs at 6pm with a return time of 7pm. The second trip starts boarding at 7:30pm and depart at 8pm with a return of 9pm To GPS, search Motorcycle Training range for parking once on base. Seats 2 comfortably for the 3 course meal The lounge/dining area features 4 tables, two of the table can be reserved for up to 4 passengers. All seats in Chester County will have a small table for each chair. Layout for Chester is designed with couples in mind. Each couple will be next to each other in each column (on the same side of the car) to enjoy the same extra large picturesque window! Rocky River lounge is setup with couples in mind for this event. Each couple will sit on the same side of the lounge next to each other to share a table. These comfortable barrel back chairs swivel 360 degrees to enjoy conversation thought the lounge. Rocky River is our kitchen car, featuring six tables with seating for up to 4 passengers. Along with 4 areas to comfortably accommodate 2 passengers in each section. Parking and boarding area. Parking located inside Motorcycle Training Range, left turn into lot off Wilson Ave. Boarding is a short walk down pedestrian walkway
