BELOVED BEGOTTEN FROM STARDUST. This is our yearly celebration of you and your capacity. A night of honoring, owning, and inspiration. A night of ritual and practice. A night of short teaching. A night of music and poetry. A night to receive a tangible reminder of your magic via ashes mixed with glitter. A night that ends with a toast to YOU. A night for all of us. BELOVED BEGOTTEN FROM STARDUST is also a reframing of the institutional Christian holiday of Ash Wednesday. Although we are non-religious, this space is unafraid to call out unhealthy and life-diminishing narratives, institutions, and belief systems while at the same time offering more expansive, inclusive, and communal spaces. We take a humanistic view that we deem sacred and secular and include EVERYONE. We are willing to learn and unlearn together. We will have an opportunity to apply ashes mixed with face glitter to your hand or forehead. We love a ritual. And we always end with a toast of champagne to the beauty of YOU. We love a toast. IMAGINARIUM is a non-religious space that focuses on events, concerts, resources, teaching, and practices to remind us of our inherent magic (worth), connection (to ourselves, others, and the natural world), and responsibility (to ourselves, others, and the natural world).
