I am a highly experienced, absolute professional bassist available for gigs on electric or upright bass, some vocals. I've been performing since the 80's and have worked at every level from small bars to major theaters and festivals both in the US and Europe. I've worked with several of Vermont's finest musicians. After a few years hiatus, I'm now seeking PROS ONLY for paid gigging opportunities in and around VT. I've played a wide-range of styles over the years including: Swing, Jazz, Blues, Rock'n'Roll, Country, Classic Rock, Celtic and American Folk styles, Latin, Reggae, Classical, Musicals, Etc. I have several hundred tunes memorized and come to gigs with a database of several thousand standard charts ready to go on a tablet. I am a Berklee graduate with a very solid theory background, strong chops and a very good ear. I am equally comfortable reading notes, chords, numbers and/or following a guitar or piano player. I have the skills, presentation, attitude and equipment needed to cut your gig to the highest standard! I have a recent vehicle and will drive a good distance for gigs. I'll play anywhere on the planet if the price is right! Though I am not at all interested in any "rehearsal bands", if you have decent gigs and can rehearse efficiently I am happy to do what is needed to make the show great!
