Description
This cat is the most beautiful cat I have ever personally been a part of owning. Shots, declawed, rescue cat from the pound. She came out so stinky and unkept. She had high anxiety and had to take calming snacks and color to be able to function normal. I kept her in my room and bathroom to help keep her feeling safe and in control. This was okay, until she decided to pee on my husbands cover and clothes and on random rugs. I do not understand why except maybe a bladder infection. She took antibiotics and seemed to do better. So time goes on and we move to another home. She has a hard time with it. And again I kept her in my master bathroom but she would use litter in there, but if let out she would go on the covers of the bed or rug or clothes. She will shiver with anxiety if I take her in any other part of the home. I put her in a big cage and she has become way better on socializing and feeling comfortable less anxious. She doesn’t like our other cat or dog, and that is fine. But she doesn’t like anyone in this house but me and there are six of us. She is more loving now than she ever has been. She uses litter box in the cage just fine but when out she will not use litter boxes every time. Just sometimes so it gets confusing. I want her to love her life and have somewhere calm and quiet. She has come a long way since the pound and is finally purring and rubbing mouth against things. She definitely didn’t do that for at least a year. I would force love hold her and then the cage all have been helping. She is declawed, fixed, dewormed, shots, everything. She would be considered a rescue cat because you are rescuing her from a home she is not comfortable in and downright mostly unhappy. If you have a calm quiet one or two person home, and can spend time with her to keep training her to enjoy touch and closeness, this cat would be a dream. Again, kids make her anxious and she shows it by not using the liter. It would be extra stress and work if you have little kids and have to deal with that too, so highly advice against it. Elderly or just older couple who want an adorable project that is home ready. It is one of the only cats I have felt some love for, so I have to say that maybe an animal free home… again thinking of urinating outside the litter box from anxiety and showing she isn’t happy. She is about three or four years old. She is due for shot updates. The text came in last week and we use hicks in Poplar bluff. We call her Bertha and she actually response to it, but obviously you can do what your hearts desire. Rehoming fee
