Bassist & Keyboard player wanted for improv based jazz fusion project. We're an experienced guitarist and drummer looking to round-out a unit of like minded musicians looking to create music inspired by the sounds of early jazz fusion. Think Miles Davis 1969-74 (Bitches Brew, Live Evil, On the Corner), Tony Williams "Emergency", Mahavishnu Orchestra, etc. The idea would be to take a basic song structure and explore from there (just like the players did back then). We would eventually like to play out and possibly record. I have a rehearsal space close to Penn Station with a full setup.
