About us: We are one of Roanoke’s premier cover bands. We are all over the age of 50 and average about 2 gigs a month, sometimes more, sometimes less. We cover mostly classic rock but dabble in some country and more current rock. We typically practice once a week after work hours. Presently we have a lead singer, guitarist, bass and drums. We are looking for a new member either a guitarist or keyboardist to replace our retiring second guitarist. About you: You are a seasoned player and work well with other band members. Knows where to sit in the mix musically and tonally. Easy to work with and welcomes constructive feedback. Learns each song close to the original. Enjoys practicing, playing out, and entertaining. Welcomes some extra cash but is not dependent on band income to make ends meet. • Please Include a picture of yourself • Audio and/or video samples of you performing are a plus • Backup vocals a huge plus • Must be comfortable playing without stage amps or monitors (we run a silent stage with everyone using in-ear monitors) • No substance abuse tolerated
