Blues band seeking seasoned pocket bass player for established blues band. Four pc band consisting of bass,drummer, guitar (vocals), front man sings and plays cross harp. We all do our homework prior to rehearsal so not to waste any time. We do old school and newer blues including.. BB King, Junior Wells, Slim Harpo, SRV, Willie Dixon, Duke Robillard, Ike Turner, Tab Benoit, Little Walter, Omar & the Howlers, Tommy Castro, Popa Chubby, Coco Montoya, Mark May, Roscoe Gordon, Jeff Healey, ZZ Top… Must be reliable and have pro gear and transportation. Also a dedicated player, not a hired gun. Vocal ability a plus but not necessary. Presently we play out approx. 3 gigs per month.. looking for more. Most important is we have fun.
