My name is Bob. I live in downtown Grand Rapids. I am an experienced musician, a fiddle player who has just resigned from a popular performing Irish band. I am also currently playing with a Bluegrass/Country/Gospel band that is popular and books gigs regularly. My stage performances often draw compliments and applause for my solos, etc. I do have videos of performances and studio recordings of my work. There are a few things that are important to me which are worth considering as to whether I match your interests. First, I am a fit, hip (420-wise), 73 year old man. If you have concerns about playing with older folks who imbibe, then I am not the guy for you. Secondly, I am looking for a band whose members are civil with each other and are not belligerent, racist, anti-ethnic (e.g., anti-semetic), sexist, or hung up on their egos. Thirdly, I am looking to play with polished musicians because proficiency is important, and I prefer playing with accomplished musicians.
