Host, Kaitlin Gee of Mrs.GeeFreeLiving - Gluten Free Wellness Consultant and Certified Integrative Health Coach, creates Gluten Free events and experiences in Southern Maine to build awareness and community for autoimmune disease and allergies. A gluten-free diet is the only treatment if for a celiac disease diagnosis. Après assionately-made small batch drinks celebrate the traditional and progressive flavors of the of the Maine lifestyle. Their naturally calorie-light hard seltzer and gluten-free hard cider call out to the adventurous, inquisitive drinker who cares about fresh ingredients and sustainable living. Lorraine's Gluten Free Lorraine was born in the Philippines and raised in Atlanta, Ga. As an adult, she has lived in Singapore and traveled extensively throughout Southeast Asia. Her passion for the rich variety of Asian cuisines was cultivated at the markets, street stalls, and restaurants in SE Asia. Now living in Maine, she has attracted a following of adventurous foodies who are interested in making the most of Maine’s celebrated ingredients. Lorraine teaches cooking classes at Bravo Maine ranging from the various culinary cousins from SE Asia to gluten-free baking. As a culinary teacher and ever since she developed allergy to gluten, she has also developed gluten-free recipes including pastries, both savory and sweet and launched her gluten-free flour blend and mix in the middle of pandemic. Please come anytime between 5:30-7:30 and your ticket will include ($45): Après- Mala (Ginger/Honey/Chili) Slushie (alcoholic) or Seltzer (non-alcoholic) that will make the perfect pairing with the menu below Plated Gluten Free Tasting Menu that includes the following (apologies no substitutions): Eggrolls (2): Minced chicken with vermicelli noodles, carrots and scallions wrapped in a crispy thinly made gluten-free eggroll crepe with sweet chili dipping sauce.Sichuan Dumplings (2): Minced pork with wood ear mushrooms, scallions, ginger and garlic stuffed in a handmade gluten-free dumpling wrapper in Sichuan dipping sauce with garlic, Sichuan spices and sesame.Dry Fried Taiwanese Chicken bites (2): Perfectly crispy chicken bites marinated in five spice, garlic and ginger. Finished by tossing with yum yum bits of fried garlic, shallots, scallions and cilantro and a light dusting of umami spice mix.Flan Cake (1): A layer of gluten-free Japanese Cheesecake and signature Filipino Leche Flan drizzled with extra creamy caramel sauce.
