Join us Monday, February 27 at 6pm at Brewmaster's Taproom in Renton for a workshop on how YOU can buy a property that needs some (or a lot) of work, and turn it into your dream home! The 203(k) Renovation Program "enables homebuyers and homeowners to finance both the purchase (or refinancing) of a house and the cost of its rehabilitation through a single mortgage or to finance the rehabilitation of their existing home." This means that your renovation costs will be wrapped up in your mortgage, allowing you to benefit from the work right away, and pay the cost of it off over time with your home! My name is Sarah Eggleston, and this is the loan program that my husband, Chris, and I used to purchase our first home. Teaching the class with me is Mortgage Loan Originator, Amanda Creter, who helped us navigate the process. I'm excited to share some of the inside knowledge from the experience and help save you from some of the pain points we had in the process.
