Introduction to Aromatherapy part 1 is a wonderful class for beginners and those who have been using aromatherapy in their homes or business. Massage therapists and Nurses can obtain CEU from this course. In this three-hour class, we will begin by looking at What is True Aromatherapy, Basic Botany, Where essential oils come from, Essential oil applications, and Essential oil safety, We will experience and create with 10 essential oils and learn about their therapeutic properties. We will discuss Aromatherapy for home use, Aromatherapy for stress, Aromatherapy for the skin, Aromatic pathways into the body, Hydrosols, and the nature of Olfactory. We will finish our day by making aromatic products such as personal inhalers, massage oils, and salves.
Your instructor Michelle Ensley has been teaching Aromatherapy courses for two decades. She is a Certified clinical aromatherapist and Massage therapist. She has been working as an Aromatherapist with Hospice patients for Multicare since 2005. Her passion is sharing her knowledge about aromatherapy.
