From the City of Evansville: January 11, 2021 The City of Evansville is seeking approval of $348,250 in additional U.S. Economic Development Association Revolving Loan Funds to assist businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Upon request by the Winnecke Administration, the City Council will consider approving a finance ordinance this evening. Interested businesses and entrepreneurs can contact the Southwest Indiana Small Business Development Center (ISBDC) for application assistance. The ISBDC will then submit the application to the City's Department of Metropolitan Development for preliminary review. Throughout the pandemic, the City provided three separate Revolving Loan Funds and two special districts, totaling nearly $775,000.
