When Laughing Colors came together in Annapolis, Md. in 1991, the rock quartet said they just wanted to make their music their life. The band played relentlessly in the mid Atlantic until 2005, when after 2200 live shows and 75,000 albums sold they decided to call it quits. Now the band likes to honor their fans by doing a few select shows per year, which have become more like a family reunion than a concert--for band and fans alike. Laughing Colors' songs and pure energy live performance have contributed to their reputation as one of the region’s most popular bands. Any fan will fervently tell you that you must experience LC live to get the full impact of their music. The electrically charged crowd is an integral part of the show, participating throughout and responding enthusiastically to charismatic, evocative front-man Dave Tieff, the guitar wizardry of Corey Hall, and the pounding, fierce rhythm of Will Dorsey Jr. on drums and Dan Welsh on bass.
