Join Kathleen Picardi as she leads you through a gentle yoga practice in our healing barn space. The class will begin with centering and breath awareness. You will transition to breathing techniques and some chanting for stress relief and stimulation of the relaxation response. You will be guided into gentle stretching and poses with much emphasis on the spine. The primary focus will be on the breath, body awareness and alignment. The class will end with poses for relaxation and quieting the mind, with some positive affirmations and a poem from the heart of yoga.
After this deeply relaxing practice the Ferry Hill Center catering staff invites you to enjoy a light healthy breakfast and gather as a community.
