EdCamp is a form of unconference designed specifically for teachers and their needs. What makes EdCamp an unconference? Unlike traditional conferences which have schedules set months in advance by the people running the conference, EdCamp has an agenda that's created by the participants at the start of the event. EdCampLI was formed by a group of committed Long Island educators who wanted to bring the EdCamp experience to Long Island. Through a lot of meeting, questioning, researching, Google Hangouts, emailing, and late nights, the vision became a reality! The first EdCampLI was a huge success and we are excitedly look forward to 2018's 5th Annual EdCampLI! This is our first venture into an AfterDark event but in fact it is considered EdCampLIAD Reboot since our first event was cancelled in March 2020.
