No Better Events Presents : Speed Connections We took the concept of speed dating and made it for everyone. LGBTQIA+ is all about being inclusive so why can’t our relationships be the same? At “Speed Connections” you get to meet everyone and just like dating some people are better as friends and some as something else. We start with several rounds to see who you have chemistry with and decide what kind you think fits for each person. No matter your identity there’s a connection to be made for everyone. Expand your friend group, meet a potential romance, meet a new movie buddy or maybe a life partner. When you purchase your ticket we’ll have a few questions for you to set-up the night for genuine connections. We also don’t share any of your information with anyone else at the event unless you both mark that you have a mutual connection. You don’t have to be single to meet someone new! We’ll have each person defined by what they are looking for at our event in terms of personal connection. It’s almost like Bumble…you can select friend mode, business mode, dating mode, NSA etc. Each person will come and decide what they are looking for- multiple things are totally fine. We’ll give you a name tag that is clearly marked. You’ll get to meet everyone because we’re all about building community and while you might not be looking to date maybe person “x” is perfect to introduce to a friend. Either way we want take the awkwardness out of meeting new people by creating a safe space where you can breathe a little easier. We don’t exchange information during the event, so you don’t have to worry about having to decline sharing yours. After our event, behind the scenes, we’ll distribute your contact information of choice to the person or people you’d like to continue getting to know.
