College representatives are invited to attend two back-to-back mini fairs held at Middletown HS and Rogers HS (Newport, RI). The two schools are located on picturesque Aquidneck Island (accessed by bridge) and are within a short 15-minute drive from one another. 7:50 a.m.- 9:00 a.m. Middletown HS 130 Valley Road, Middletown RI 02842 9:30-10:30 a.m. Rogers HS 15 Wickham Road, Newport RI 02840 We ask that you arrive at Middletown HS between 7:30 a.m. and 7:40 a.m. so we can properly direct you to parking and escort you to the gymnasium (new location this year). Please do not arrive earlier than 7:30 a.m. as students will still be arriving to school via bus and car. All juniors and sophomores will be invited to attend the fairs. We anticipate over 500 students from the two schools combined will participate in this event. With numerous offerings in the arts, business, engineering, health and human services and more, you will be sure to meet students with a variety of interests. And with our international draw from the island’s Navy base coupled with our diverse local communities, you will meet students representing many backgrounds and cultures. Please register by March 15th. There is a $40 fee for this event. RI Seaside Consortium is absorbing the processing fee. Space is limited to 50 colleges so register early. There is much to do in our oceanside community, and the off season makes our island much more accessible to it all! Our “City by the Sea” boasts a wide variety of inn and hotel options as well as a great selection of world class dining and shopping to explore.
