Rhythm Guitar (50s) seeking a classic rock COVER band... 60s/70s/80s/90s, 2 guitar - no originals (looking to gig regularly)... looking for a drama free, cooperative, situation where I can blend in with; where we can discuss & compromise rather than scream & throw tantrums. My style is generally parts like broken chords (to compliment lead; arpeggios, harmony leads & minor riffs, introductions - not a wallflower in a diminished capacity... I want a bit more of a challenge while staying in my place, but definitely not capable of lead solos. i can double on bass to fill a void at any given rehearsal, but Ino not a bass player. I am retired. & I have no family obligations... restrictions... so I have the availability to commit to a band bass & be there on time (usually earlier than that). I'm not phenomenal, but I am a dedicated, serious team player. i have a car, & can travel & commute to rehearsals & gigs. Available for Qns, Bklyn, L.I., & upstate locations (but would prefer to stay away from the 24-hour Manh gridlock - I never go there anymore). I like playing bands with female vox as well as male. Please give me a call & about 10 - 12 of your most important songs... Start up bands are OKAY, as long as you got a definite plan & R somewhat organized.
