For some, Mother’s Day is as lovely as the commercials portray. For others, the day is fraught with loss, grief, longing, and bitterness; or a messy mixture of joy, gratitude, sorrow, and regret. Some grieve a recent loss, others grieve again. If this is you, consider joining us at Stuart Avenue Inn as we take time out to remember these important figures. Sharing is optional; tears are acceptable; silence is respected. Sometimes it is enough just to be in the company of others. Of course, tasty scones, tea sandwiches and desserts will be served with assorted warm and nurturing teas. Set aside time to remember, to grieve, and to treat yourself with kindness - as your mother would. Attendees are encouraged to bring a photo of their mom,. $30/person.
