Handyman / Maintenance Description MY SALON Suite East Meadow MY SALON Suite leases fully furnished, move-in ready private suites to independent beauty and wellness professionals looking to grow their business and improve their lives. We are in need of a handyman/maintenance person for ongoing project work and maintenance as described below. The need is ongoing, and we are seeking a dependable individual who can support our growing business and be an extended part of our team. Project Work – hourly or by project as needed New Member Suites • Hang chandelier • Hang curtains and other wall items Furniture changes • Change out hair/spa furniture as needed • Take items to/from storage unit as needed • Light plumbing to attach or detach shampoo bowls Other project work as needed – Examples below which are needed right now • Weather stripping rear and front doors • Securing cables on exterior of building • Replace drinking fountain filter • Change out shampoo shower head Maintenance - regular schedule Quarterly Preventative maintenance (4x/year – starting in March 2023) • Clean hair traps (9 suites with shampoo set-ups) • Clean hair dryer filters (9 suites with hair dryers) • Clean HVAC vents (34 suites with 3 vents in each) • Tighten shampoo bowl faucet and other fixtures (9 suites with shampoo set up) • Inspect all suite furniture (34 suites) • Vacuum door tracks (34 suites) • Check hand sanitizer and replace bags if needed Annual Preventative maintenance (1x/year – starting in June 2023) • Replace toilet flusher batteries • Clean water heater intake filter and flush water heaters
