●  Minimum 3-5 years experience as maintenance person/handyman/custodian. ●  Knowledge of basic building systems, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical. ●  Driver's License required. ●  Must be punctual and reliably commute to work. ●  Work Hours are 8AM-4PM. ●  Must speak, read and write in English. Spanish a plus. ●  High school diploma or GED required. ●  Positive attitude and strong communication skills. ●  Ability to work well with others. ●  Ability to work independently or as part of a team. ●  Ability to kneel, crawl, bend, stoop, push, pull, lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds. ●  Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds and navigate up and down stairs. ●  Ability to climb up and down ladders. ●  Ability to operate equipment such as a floor stripper, buffer, polisher, snow blower, lawn mower, power tools, and small tractor. ●  Provides support and assistance as requested. Job Description -Responsible for basic building repairs such as painting, plastering, plumbing, light carpentry, electrical, HVAC and repairs to other building related systems. -Responsible for maintenance and repair of all equipment and vehicles. -Maintain awareness of any issues at buildings and notify supervisor. -Conduct on-site inspections; and support and assist staff in following through on routine maintenance and emergency/repair requests. -Place garbage/recycling at street on appropriate days. Keep garbage area organized and clean at all times. -Maintain grounds free of garbage. -Clean and mop floors, where specified. -Work with other team members to complete maintenance work. -Complete work orders, miscellaneous repairs, and report to Management upon completion.
