Description

I am a bass/synth/guitar player looking for creative musicians who have no interest in popular music. I prefer writing music, but would be willing to work in a few tasteful covers, if it worked with our own voice/direction. I don't want to lock into a specific genre(especially in this ad), as I don't want to limit potential with preconceived rules and borders. I am likely to play a piano ballad one minute, a funk groove the next, and top it all of with a bluegrass or hard rock jam. I love blending genres and styles. I have played in groups on all three instruments, and have live as well as studio experience. I am not into the bar/party scene anymore, and am more interested in making interesting and creative music than being a star. The days of pounding the bar scene with cover bands has passed for me. I want to be one of those groups that my musician friends love and appreciate, and my non-musician friends don't quite understand.
