WHEATON, IL — Wheaton's police blotter through Jan. 3 included package thefts, damaged garages and damaged trees. Below is a roundup of the details of some of these crimes. Package theft in 400 block of Brahms Circle A resident told police that they never received a package that was purchased on Ebay. Criminal damage to property in 1700 block of Ardmore Lane A garage window was shattered sometime between 3 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Dec. 28. Criminal damage to property at Central Park Athletic Center Someone damaged a tree at Central Park Athletic Center on Dec. 21, causing the tree to die.
