• Punctuality is a must!
• Previous experience with planning, organizing and managing previous events with understanding of how an event
works.
• Willing to take direction and be open to communication, able to communicate well with operational managers and
venue owners.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, drive and motivation and able to think quick
in fast paced environments.
• Flexibility with schedule with evenings and weekend work required.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• The assistant is occasionally required to sit; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The assistant must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• You will be assisting with checking people in and assuring the event is running efficiently and smoothly.
Job description
• Responsible for set-up, supporting and organizing a private event and meeting functions at the property through direct client contact to maximize interpersonal skills. Maintain a professional relationship with guests and assist in project management and set-up agreements. Assists the client with venue set-up; food & beverage, set-up, decorations, and other services requested by client; assures that all requirements are communicated and completed to the clients’ specifications. Guest expectancy is 45-60 people.
