We are looking for someone to join our team in the role of Facilitator, Playground Maintenance & Activities. You should be: A professional preferably with a degree in the Hospitality, Recreation or Events or a related field. A creator who may contribute to the activity programming. A lover of people! What you will do: Events Attend activities and events at Beam Living properties for setup, hosting and breakdown. Assist in the marketing of events by replacing property materials as needed. Verify resident identification, confirm registration, greet and de-greet. Playgrounds Verify resident identification and enforce playground rules. Conduct daily audits of the playground - ensuring safe operation of all apparatus. Ensure the cleanliness of each playground at Beam communities. Broom, blow leaves, pressure wash etc. if necessary. Lift a Minimum of 50 lbs. Amenities Assist at the various amenity spaces; concierge, study, kids indoor playground and gyms. Meet & Greet residents, verify identification, member cards. Assist in the setup of classes or birthday parties at any of the amenity spaces. What you should have: The ability to connect with others to keep the team aligned and focused. An analytical ability to collect and use information to solve complex problems. The technical experience to be able to lead large teams, internal and external, and earn their trust and respect for your competence. Deep understanding (5 years+) of hospitality service, recreation, activities or events. A proven track record of customer services experience is required. Whether at hotels, country clubs, cruise ships or residential facilities. Fanatical discipline and relentless desire to do what needs to be done. A love for doing what others won’t and solving very difficult problems. A desire to grow and take on ever increasing responsibility. A valid NYC driver’s license What we offer: We know that if we take care of our team, everything else will fall into place. We aren’t perfect, but we will try to set very clear expectations, always let you know where you stand, and do everything in our power to help you get where you want to go. Base Salary: $20.00 - $26.00 Per Hour Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience & location.
