Job description Job description About Us: VayK Gear is a one-of-its-kind rental service to all of those summertime lovers out there. We want you to enjoy care-free beach fun and get the most out of your family vacation without the hassle of bringing your own stuff. We offer an array of beach gear delivered directly to your home or vacation rental. Our team is growing and we are looking for part-time, seasonal team leads to help oversee our warehouse team and delivery drivers. Gear and Delivery Associate/Driver: The Gear and Delivery Associate will be responsible for both work inside of the warehouse as well as driving routes to drop-off equipment when needed. They will be responsible for daily activities within the warehouse such as picking and packing, inventory management, and maintaining safety best practices. The Gear & Delivery Driver is a versatile role in which we expect the ideal candidate to be able to complete work inside of our warehouse and drive. This person must have weekend availability, no CDL is required. Responsibilities: Drive delivery routes to drop-off and pick-up rented equipment Ensure deliveries are being completed on time Picking, packing, sorting within the warehouse Repair and maintenance of rental bikes both in the field and warehouse, training provided Ensure working environment is safe and clean at all times Clear communication with co-workers and Team Leads Ensure all equipment is maintained and cleaned properly after each rental Ability to lift heavy objects Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods Skills & Requirements: 1+ year of warehouse and driving experience Clean driving record Proficiency in inventory software, databases, systems, and management Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices Organizational and time management skills Job Type: Seasonal Feb 2023- Aug 2023 Hourly Rate: Starting at $15-$17 an hr Schedule: Weekend availability, peak days are Thursday - Sunday, shift length may vary Job Type: Seasonal Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour Day range: Weekend availability Weekends only Experience level: 2 years Shift: Day shift Morning shift People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Ability to commute/relocate: Outer Banks, Manteo, NC 27954 : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Application Question(s): Are you able to work Saturday and Sunday?
