A Largo located manufacturer that makes panels and components is hiring for a Shop Helper to join their team. The responsibilities of this position include loading/unloading, sorting material, lifting, and helping out with labor as needed. This is an entry level position, you will be cross trained on woodworking machines such as Edge bander and Vertical Drill machines to set up the equipment, cut and shape wooden parts, and verify dimensions, using a template, caliper, or ruler. An ideal candidate has the ability to work hands on and stand for long periods of time. Someone who is willing to learn and pick up on new tasks is necessary. Experience with woodworking, construction, & or machining experience is a plus! Candidate must be able to commit to the schedule and have reliable transportation. This is a full time position with growth opportunity for the right individual! Schedule: Monday-Friday 10am-6pm with overtime opportunity! Once you are able to operate independently, your hours may change to an earlier shift. Qualifications: Previous woodworking, construction, laborer, or manufacturing experience Have to be eager to learn and be a team player Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time Reliable transportation Starting pay: $16.00 per hour with performance based increases after the probationary period! Weekly pay!
