Key Responsibilities: Count, inspect, sort, identify & record storage location of all cargo discharging (or coming off a vessel). Count, Inspect, sort, identify & record stow location of all cargo Stowed (or being loaded onto a vessel). Load / unload trucks Receive cargo on trucks Ship out cargo from yard to trucks Load Rail Cars Mark & take dimension of cargo. Keep Written Tallies and Record Keep record with the use of electronic Equipment (Tablet & Scanner) Other duties, as assigned Candidate Requirements: 1 year experience in shipping & receiving (Warehouse, Yards, Stevedoring) is beneficial Attention to detail in following & performing basic instructions Available for working long hours, holidays & weekends Ability to Write / Read in English Bilingual English / Spanish is a plus Capable of keeping counts and tallies
