Oregon is poised to become the third state to restore the right to vote to people currently incarcerated in prison. Next Up, ACLU of Oregon and OLCV is hosting letter-writing workshops to engage incarcerated Oregonians about proposed legislation to restore their right to vote. The event will include training for folks who have never participated in letter-writing campaigns in the past. Together we’ll learn about the restoration of voting rights, the importance of communicating with people on the inside, and uplifting their voices in political advocacy.
