Thrift for Good is hiring full and part-time Pricers at our climate-controlled Hurst warehouse. We are looking for smart and self-motivated people to work in this fast-paced environment where every day is different. The right fit will be a positive addition to our upbeat, focused, and fun environment. This position involves sorting through incoming donations, evaluating items for quality, and then pricing those items. Other tasks include internet research about the value of different products, receiving donations from the public, and light cleaning. Qualified applicants must have: Basic computer skills; The ability type at least 25 words per minute; Be able to lift at least 30 lbs; Have reliable transportation; and Have a legal right to work in the United States. The following skills are not required, but are a plus, and may help command a higher wage: Prior experience working in a thrift store; Prior experience working in a warehouse or as a product stocker; Knowledge of clothing brands, where they are sold, and approximately how much they cost; Knowledge of collectibles including glass, toys, memorabilia, etc; and/or Experience with selling online (Ebay, Etsy, Poshmark, Etc.); Compensation: This position starts at $10-$12/hour depending upon skill, experience, and productivity level. New hires become eligible for raises after 90 days. Guaranteed bonus after 6 months (or 6 months’ worth of hours for part-timers) of either $300 in store credit or $150 in cash.
